This platform is designed for the presentation, sale, auction and protection (through cryptographic custody) of original artworks by our curated artists from Brazil, France, Spain and Latin America. We give to our curated artist an opportunity to exhibit art and reach a global audience. Every artwork has a unique reference and URL that is integrated with our blockchain.
Private Blockchain | Advantages of Blockchain in the Art Market
The Certificates of Authenticity (CoA) of original artworks of our curated artists are registered in our private blockchain and protected through cryptographic custody to improve the traceability of all artworks that are sold at RAMOS.ART. We can track the complete journey of a painting, from its creation in the artist studio and first sale (primary market) to its final destination (current owner). Our Blockchain stores information on records, sales, certificates (CoA) of every artwork. This reduces illicit trafficking of artworks and solves the problem of counterfeiting certificates and art provenance. Blockchain provides public data about artworks without revealing the identity of the collectors. In the event of theft, loss or destruction of an artwork and its legal documents, the owners may be able to prove their ownership rights to insurance companies.
